Draft Conference Program
We kindly inform that the deadline for proposal submissions has been extended to February 1st, 2018.
We are excited to announce our two keynote speakers for the 2018 Cincinnati conference (April 6-7).
Dr. Hakim Abderrezak is Associate Professor Associate Professor of French and Francophone Studies at the University of Minnesota. He is author of Ex-Centric Migrations (Indiana UP, 2016), which examines cinematic, literary, and musical representations of migrants and migratory trends in the western Mediterranean.
Dr. Cristina Rivera Garza is Distinguished Professor in Hispanic Studies at the University of Houston and the award-winning author of six novels, three collections of short stories, five collections of poetry and three non-fiction books. She currently directs the nation’s first Ph.D. program in Spanish with a concentration in Creative Writing at the University of Houston.
A call for papers is forthcoming in Fall semester. We hope to welcome you to Cincinnati in April.
